The 2025 II-VI and Infrared Materials Workshop will be held on September 29 - October 2, 2025, at the Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile. Applications for tabletops are currently being accepted.

The Workshop brings together academia and the industrial and governmental communities that work with II-VI and infrared materials, which are critical in a wide range of detector technologies, including those operating in the IR, UV, X-ray, and gamma-ray regions of the spectrum. These have applications in many fields, including national security, homeland security, medicine, industrial process monitoring, basic science, and more. The Workshop aims to advance the understanding of the basic physics and chemistry of these materials and thereby contribute to the continual improvement of these system capabilities.

EXHIBIT HOURS
Tuesday, September 30, 2025: 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Wednesday, October 1, 2025: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
Thursday, October 2, 2025: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

SET-UP AND DISMANTLE
Exhibitors may begin to set up on Tuesday, September 30, at 9:00 am. A wine and cheese reception is scheduled from 5:00 to 6:30 pm on Tuesday evening, and exhibitors may stay as long as traffic demands. Tabletops should be dismantled by 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 2. Please note that, as in the past, exhibitors are responsible for their own equipment. The room will not be locked or monitored at any time.
