The 2026 II-VI and Infrared Materials Workshop will be held on September 14 -17, 2026, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Monterey Bay Seaside. Applications for tabletops will be accepted in 2026.

The Workshop brings together academia and the industrial and governmental communities that work with II-VI and infrared materials, which are critical in a wide range of detector technologies, including those operating in the IR, UV, X-ray, and gamma-ray regions of the spectrum. These have applications in many fields, including national security, homeland security, medicine, industrial process monitoring, basic science, and more. The Workshop aims to advance the understanding of the basic physics and chemistry of these materials and thereby contribute to the continual improvement of these system capabilities.
