II-VI WORKSHOP

Tutorials at II-VI and Infrared Materials Workshop

Beginning in 2013, the II-VI Workshop instituted tutorial talks given by senior members of the II-VI materials science and device physics community. These tutorial talks are intended to provide a forum for retrospective reviews of selected technical topics that the speakers have made one of the central foci of their long careers. The tutorials are meant to provide a means for younger and newer members of the community to benefit from the technical groundwork and long-view perspectives that form the foundations of today’s II-VI materials and device research. These tutorials, usually one hour in length, are held the Monday evening prior to the three-day workshop.
