Learn more: Link to hotel

The 2022 II-VI Workshop will be held on October 19 - 21 at the Tampa Airport Westshore Hilton Hotel in Tampa, FL.

The hotel is three miles from Tampa International Airport and less than two miles from Buccaneers games at Raymond James Stadium. For shopping, there are the International Plaza and Bay Street half a mile away, and WestShore Plaza two miles away. Amenities include a heated outdoor pool, fitness center, tennis court, bar, restaurant, and convenience store on site.

The II-VI Workshop Committee urges all attendees to reserve their hotel rooms at the official workshop hotel, the Tampa Airport Westshore Hilton Hotel.  The Committee has had to guarantee a certain amount of room nights in order to complete our contract with the hotel.  If room numbers fall below the contracted amount, the workshop must pay an attrition fee.

By staying at this hotel you will assist the workshop in lowering the costs of producing our workshop and continuing with the program in subsequent years.

Thank you for your help in making the workshop successful for all.

TUTORIALS

October 25, 2021 - 5:00 PM
Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown Magneficent Mile, Chicago, IL

The 2021 II-VI Workshop will feature a tutorial section on Monday, October 25. This year's tutorial will be given by Dr. Philip Klipstein, SCD, on "III-V Barrier Detectors". The tutorial welcomes all interested and registered II-VI workshop participants. The workshop committee particularly encourages graduate students, post-docs and junior researchers to attend the tutorial and explore the topics in detail and tap into the experience of and network with the well-established researchers. More information about the tutorials such as topic, registration, time and location will be posted on the II-VI Workshop website and also distributed via email in following weeks.
